What Town is actually like
"Downtown" Port Moresby, situated between Paga Hill and Touaguba Hill; emerged towards the mid 1900s as a trade centre. With it's evergrowing skyline, this area has been long considered the CBD of Port Moresby with embassies, businesses and banks establishing their presence along Musgrave Street and Port Road.
Nowadays, Port Moresby is expanding towards the suburbs of Waigani and Gordon, being more centrally located with plenty of potential to expand. However downtown Port Moresby continues to offer prime commercial space with new developments inclusive of the Harbourside Precinct and Noble Centre, offering waterfront views and quality office and retail spaces to cater for the formal market of Port Moresby.
Being located close to the upmarket residential suburbs areas along Touaguba Hill and Paga Hill, Downtown Port Moresby offers some of the best restaurants and cafes with waterfront cafe's or hotel restaurants looking over Ela Beach.
